Elizabeth Swartz Interiors provides interior design and space planning services for an array of new construction and renovation projects. Custom residential design is a specialty.
With over 35 years of experience, Elizabeth Swartz, ASID has a keen understanding of the importance of seamlessly integrating architecture and interior design. Her refined use of sophisticated color, natural materials, and skilled craftspeople are noteworthy features of sprawling weekend retreats; elegant residences; stand alone spaces such as kitchens and baths; and small-scale commercial interiors.
A fresh opportunity lies within each project and Elizabeth notes, “I listen carefully to understand my client’s vision and provide personalized interior design services to guide the process and make their vision a reality. This philosophy is dependent upon a close collaboration, and my clients recognize that decisions are made with them, not for them.”
Dedicated to monitoring the project process as the client’s advocate, Elizabeth stays actively involved from initial planning stages through drawings and specifications, overview of specialized trades, and design of furniture and furnishings. “As a problem solver I interpret my clients’ ideas, then team with various builders, trades people, workrooms, cabinetmakers, craftspeople, and artisans to transform these concepts into distinctive and inviting spaces.”
Elizabeth graduated from Cornell University, with a degree in Design and Environmental Analysis. She is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and she holds a Presidential Citation from ASID’s New England Chapter. She is board certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ). Her projects have garnered multiple awards and she has been featured in numerous publications including Boston Home, Boston Common, New England Home, Trends, Cape Cod Home, HGTV, New Hampshire Home, and The Perfect Home Book Series “Leading Residential Interior Designers.”
