Boston-based Elizabeth Swartz Interiors designed this cozy kitchen in a charming Martha’s Vineyard cottage featured by Houzz. With an abundance of windows and little room for adding cabinetry, efficient space design was of utmost importance. “There’s no such thing as unusable space,” states Elizabeth. “We took full advantage of that dead corner.” A former mudroom was converted into a kitchen pantry that houses the refrigerator and full-height cabinetry; the main work space is part of an open floor plan that leads to the dining area and living room.
